Normally, this game has always been played on the Saturday following Halloween. It gets its name from the fact that huge crowds of Georgia and Florida fans attend this game and do a lot of tailgating with alcoholic beverages. This is one of Florida's oldest rivalries, and a huge rivalry for the University of Georgia.

held at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium, every year. In the past few years, a rivalry trophy has been added to this game. It is called the "Okefenokee Oar" and is a wooden oar supposedly created from a tree in the Okefenokee Swamp that straddles the border between Georgia and Florida. It was created the Florida student government to foster more interest in the rivalry.
