The Rocky Mountain Showdown is an annual football game between the Colorado Buffaloes of the Big 12 and the Colorado State Rams of the Mountain West Conference. The original series began in 1893. The annual showdown between the two schools was not started till the 1995 season. The two teams play for a trophy called the Centennial Cup. The game is usually played at Invesco Field (Home of the NFL's Denver Broncos).
