I-64 Bowl

The I-64 Bowl is a rivalry between Richmond and William & Mary The game is known as The South's Oldest Rivalry

The rivalry began in 1898; only Lafayette-Lehigh, Princeton-Yale, and Harvard-Yale have played more games. (Minnesota-Wisconsin is tied for fourth with this series.) Annually this rivalry is almost always the last game of the regular season for both teams; for many years during the middle of the 20th century the game was played on Thanksgiving. The "I-64 Bowl" started in 1984.
